Wellbeing massage
A relaxing treatment
A classical massage where I combine slight pressure (work on fascias / connective tissue) and more active pressure on muscles.
This combination allows to activate the tissues under the skin up to the deep tissues (deep muscles, viscera, tendons, joints, etc.) promoting the improvement of your mobility limitations in a smooth manner.
Sports massage
A muscular treatment
A massage focused on muscular work and chronic pain. The work of the Sports massage can be global (all over the body) but also can be really focused on a specific body area to release muscle stress / pain and to recover full mobility range.
This massage is based on various techniques including deep pressure techniques, frictions, percussions.
Sports massage also positively affects circulation (blood, lymphatic), range of motion and tissue restrictions (tendons, superficial fascias) & even includes some passive stretching techniques.
Professional or passionate athletes who want to improve performance and optimize recovery, here is the right choice for you.
Deep Tissue massage
A therapeutic way
Specific work which mainly includes very slow movements and deep pressure on areas of tension, fluid and vigorous techniques from head to toes.
It eliminates muscle stress and works on other tissues that can be the cause of pain or movement restrictions, thus regulating compensations and therefore imbalances.
Professional or passionate athletes, people exercising a profession with significant physical constraints, or simply if you love deep massages, here is the right choice for your recovery treatment!
Dry Needling
Also called Medical acupuncture.
I am a certified Dry needling therapist (this practice is also called medical acupuncture in some countries).
Traditional Chinese Acupuncture is the oldest form of alternative medicine that involves insertion of fine needles through the skin in a certain point on the body for therapeutic effect.
Western medical acupuncture, most commonly called Dry Needling, does not involve the traditional Chinese medicine concepts (Qi, Yin, Yang meridians) and claims to be part of conventional medicine.
Dry needling is based on current understanding of human anatomy and more particularly on the concept of trigger points.
Dry needling therapy is primarily meant to alleviate musculoskeletal pain (including myofascial).
Generally, this technique is not considered a type of massage but it is included in any massage which targets a therapeutic effect.
(Table) Thaï massage
A Yoga massage
Thaï massage is different from other types of massage – we can call it “Yoga for two”. It is a moving meditation punctuated by body weight pressure with the hands, elbows and feet on specific areas, which activates blood and energy circulation.
It also offers joint mobilization and passive stretching of the muscles to restore flexibility and increase the range of motion while promoting relaxation.
Traditionally performed on the floor, dressed in comfortable clothes, it can also be performed on a massage table, with oil, depending on your preference.
(Alternatively can be done on a regular massage table if you don’t feel comfortable on ground: a perfect option if you are pregnant)
Massage & mobility routine
The optimal recovery pack
Jyot massage + Creation of a targeted stretching session for a physical recovery routine.
After a specific massage with, subsequently, assisted stretching to release specific tension areas, I will build you a customized recovery routine to be done either as a warm-up or after your sport training.
I mix various techniques of passive stretching, mobilization of joints including CARS (controlled articular rotation system), yoga postures, breathing exercises to give you all the tools that you need to optimize your mobility and prevent any recurrent pain.
The goal is to develop your autonomy, your body awareness, gain amplitude in movement thanks to mobility exercises combined with breathing techniques.
A regular follow-up (specific massage combined with routine adjustments) is recommended.
Despite all above techniques mentioned above, I will always personalize your massage, to give you a true tailor-made muscle treatment based on your specific needs!
So don’t hesitate to give me the maximum information during our little intro, welcome discussion. The more clues you give me, the better your experience will be.
Determined by your areas of tension, your specific needs, your desires for relaxation, I will mix various massage techniques (Deep Tissue, sports, well-being, digital pressure, Thai) and passive stretching to offer you a global or targeted muscle relaxation.
